| Russian Blue The Russian Blue never became a fashion cat. On shows they are always presented in low numbers.
An exception will be on a Russian Blue Special,where you will see a higher number of Russians.
We are breeding a mix of European and American lines .
Heine is a member of Mundicat (FIFE)
We will breed the FIFE Standard for the Russian Blue. . People are choosing for the Russian Blue, because of their aristocratic appearance.
They are elegant , very musculous, they can jump far and high.
Their coat is double and plush with a silvery shine. Vivid green eyes and a smiley face. They have a lovely character ,very devoted to their own family. Our experience is ,that when strangers are visiting us ,they will disappear.
When they have left, they come in straight away again, it looks like they will say ,so we are amongst the family again.
There are always exceptions ,like our Jerusha. She likes to hang out with everybody .(see picture below) The story tells that Russians because of their double plush coat, will cause less allergic reactions then other cats. But if you are allergic have you examined before you choos a cat, because it will be very sorry for you and the breeder,when the cat has to be replaced.  |
